Cici is so sweet and was the tiniest baby I think we’ve ever had the privilege of holding. She is just perfect in every way. We know she is going to bring so much joy, laughter and memories to her family. Congratulations Jaret and Kelsey! She’s beautiful!
This photo session was a bit different than our normal. It was a surprise! Way to go Chad! It was great to meet Chad and Shirley’s family and what a fun group they are…even in extreme heat! May you treasure these photos for years to come.

When all the kids, the grandmas and grandpa and godmother come to town, it’s a perfect time to capture the moment.
If fun had a name, it would be Megan Borja. We had such a great time during this photo shoot with our new friend, and soon-to-be high school graduate, Megan. Her spunky and positive personality is contagious and sure to open the doors to some wonderful opportunities for her. Megan, congratulations! May life just keep getting better and better.
Just as Bri’s cap says, “Every end is a new beginning.” As she closes this chapter as a Lion’s softball athlete, she has exciting opportunities ahead of her as she pursues her master’s with plans of coaching softball in her bright future. We can’t wait to see where your path leads Bri. Congratulations! You did it!
Sometimes the wildflowers, the sunset and your client all align and you get a few magical shots. Caitlyn, it was so good to meet you. May you always have the confidence and curiosity to learn new things-just like how you taught yourself to play the ukulele.
Brooke-you did it! You graduate from college this week. And then you can embark upon all things adulting-you know, like finding a teaching job, paying bills, college loan payments, etc. Wait, I mean, let’s focus on the no more homework and tests for a while part and celebrate the fact that you’re back in Texas with so many loved ones. Welcome home girl! We’re proud of you!
Noah, we know you are excited to bring this chapter of your life to a close, and to begin the next new adventure. You are talented, hard working and have an incredible support system in your family. We can’t wait to see where your path leads and the incredible opportunities that await you.
This girl! We’ve known Riley and her family for about 15 years now. We’ve literally watched her grow up. We’ve witnessed her overcome. And now we get to benefit from her help here at Luminous Productions. Riley, you are strong and determined, with a healthy dose of creative and adventurous. We can’t wait to see how the Lord continues to use your gifts and talents to build a life that is full of joy for you and a blessing to others.
Amber, we are so proud of you! Not only are you on the cusp of finishing your college degree and launching off into teaching, you endured endless heckling during your session from your Dad (and Joe too). We are excited about the woman you’ve become through your college years, and look forward to watching God use your unique gifts and talents to serve and lead others.
Summer-we can’t wait to see where your road leads! You are bright, you are dedicated and you are kind. We know you’ve made your family and your community proud. Congratulations on your upcoming high school graduation and the beginning of your next great adventure.
What a special way this was to kick off the celebration of the Williamses’ 50th Wedding Anniversary festivities! They have a beautiful, kind and loving family. And those sweet, giggly grandaughters-I’m sure they’re a source of much joy! I think you can nearly hear their giggles in a few of these.
What an amazingly beautiful couple! Warren, you found a real winner in Her-Schel! It’s been awesome watching as your relationship has grow and blossomed over the past couple of years. I’m so glad you trusted Emily and I with the opportunity to both enjoy and capture your special day. I do hope these pictures provide great enjoyment every time you see them and reflect on your wedding day. May God bless your union and minister through the two of you in mighty ways.
Look at this beautiful family we *found* in Oregon for photos on what happened to be the first snowfall of the season. The timing could not have been more perfect…except man it was cold! Last weekend we were shooting with pretend snow and snowballs in 60+ degree temps in Texas, this weekend, we got the real deal! So much fun! Thanks again Will & Megan for a fun time! The feeling has returned to all our frozen body parts!
We’ve heard about this beautiful family for years, but finally had the privilege of meeting them. Chad and Kristen, it was so good to get to know you and your sweet children. All their tender kisses just melted our hearts.
If you don’t know this family, you are missing out. I love this family’s hearts of gold toward others (for instance-the time they “adopted” our middle child for the remaining 5 hours of a LONG road trip). I hope in these photos you can feel their love and hear their laughter.
The last time we took pictures of the Hansons, Kevin and Paula were both still taller than the kids. A lot has changed in the last two years! And thankfully, this time, there were no ER visits the day of their session. What a kind and beautiful family the Hansons are! They are a wonderful asset to the Commerce community. We’re so thankful their path has led them here.
We’ve known this sweet family since before we were married and their girls were as young as our youngest children. We loved the opportunity to capture some of the smiles, laughter and love your family shares.
We just love how much love this family has for one another. It was fun to do a Christmas themed session with them, and even a little snowball fight on the 70-degree, non-rainy day.
You’ve gotta love a family who is flexible with impending storms, a few rain drops and mosquitos the size of birds…and then is still willing to hop back out again when the sun pokes it’s beautiful head through the clouds and lights up the evening sky. Thank you again to the entire Philips family for the opportunity to capture these images for you. We pray you treasure them for years!
Here is a little glimpse into the beautiful marriage of Andrew and Shelby. The Rockwall Manor was a gorgeous venue for their wedding, but the hearts of love and support that filled the place were even more breathtaking. What a wonderful start to forever together!
Just a few fun photos from tonight’s wedding. Congratulations Jesse and Maggie! Let the grand adventure begin.
We have gotten to know the Blacks more this spring and summer through our sons playing ball together, and Coach Chris coaching our son. So, as you can imagine, the ball field was the perfect place to capture some fun shots of this sweet family!
We sure enjoyed our time with Mike and Sarai. We pray that whatever adventure you find yourselves on (be it a boat, rock crawling, or even just life itself), you laugh often and overflow with joy as you do life together.
This talented Greenville senior is about to make some noise…..even beyond his gift of percussion! It was wonderful getting to know the Bakkum family a little more during our time together for this session. Ryan, we look forward to hearing about your hopes and dreams becoming a reality in the years ahead.
Jeff and Amanda might be some of the sweetest people around. Gentle and kind, servants to all around them. We look forward to hearing about the many ways they are a blessing to others as they serve the Lord together with their lives.
We’re so glad we could get a session in with this beautiful family before their eldest leaves the nest next month.
We were finally blessed with great weather to capture some beautiful photos of these sweet friends. David and Bethany, we pray you treasure these for years to come!
Check out this 2018 Commerce High School graduate and his beautiful sisters. Congratulations Alan, and thank you in advance for your service to our country in the U.S. Navy!
We had so much fun chasing down this little lumberjack. Luca’s been walking since 8 months, so truly, we got to chase him all night. He’s fast and he’s strong. We’re pretty sure he’ll be chopping down real trees by his next birthday. Ha!
It was such a joy to capture some special moments of this sweet (and growing) family together before they welcome Little Miss in a few months. We were so thankful for the beautiful weather…so we didn’t have to reschedule…again!
Here’s a little sneak peek of this good-looking crew. Thank you, Mistie and Brandon, for the opportunity to capture some updated photos of your beautiful family. May you enjoy these for years to come!
What an exciting time in your life Gage! Thank you for the opportunity to capture a few images of you, your fun pup and your truck. We pray that many great opportunities will present themselves as you move into the next stage. Congratulations!
One thing I really like about Nate is how cool, calm and collected he is.
Me: So you played football at Campbell? Nate: Yes.
Me: Awesome, did you score in the really high scoring game they had last year.
Nate: Yeah, I scored 8 touchdowns.
May you continue to be a blessing to those whom God brings along your path.
The Lord definitely knew what He was doing when he made two of these girls! Double the fun, double the laughter, double the sweet!
These responsible and respectful young women have a lot of bright things awaiting them in their future. Congratulations on finishing high school AND your associates degrees this year, ladies! We can’t wait to hear about your next big accomplishments!
We sure did enjoy getting to know Danny and his mom. What a great young man with a very bright future. We look forward to hearing about the adventures ahead and pray that God would grant you safety through boot camp and beyond.
Meet Bear! This little guy is so sweet and has an especially proud big brother!
Colby and Sarah, may your joys as parents be exponentially more because of the blessing of sweet brothers growing up in your home. May their bond be strong…and their pranks be just enough to keep you on your toes.
